The Deputy General Secretary of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has warned the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December 7, 2024, general elections.
Mustapha Gbande was emphatic in an interview with NEAT FM and monitored by Theannouncergh.com that his party will not tolerate any form of intimidation tactics from the governing party to rig the upcoming election.
“For them (NPP) to think the only way to retain power is to kill again, they will not have their way. For them to think the only way is to rig election won't happen again in this country.” He vehemently cautioned.
Mustapha Gbande was reacting to the numerous disturbances marred the ongoing Limited Voter Registration exercise across the country.
He accused the Electoral Commission (EC) and the NPP of conspiring to frustrate new registers he believes are most NDC members.
