The Constitution of the Republic Of Ghana calls for periodic elections which are held in every four years. Most of these elections have been welcomed with Presidential debates which enable Presidential Candidates to explain well their manifestos and campaign promises to Ghanaians, this also enables Presidential aspirants to give proper details as to how to finance their promises with the Nation's coffers.

The 2024 general election is a special election since aspirants of the two major political parties in Ghana is led by an incumbent Vice President and a former Vice President who later became a President. This throws a challenge to both aspirants to showcase their achievements for people to determine who can fulfil his campaign promises.

The NPP Presidential candidate has achieved a lot as Vice President of the Republic Of Ghana compared to Vice Presidents Ghana has ever had and also believes his campaign promises are the breakthrough for Ghana moving forward is calling for a Presidential debate. Perhaps Mahama is running away from the debate to avoid possible humiliation and making us believe his fear of Ghanaians knowing his incompetence while in office and the failure of the NDC to well explain their major campaign message which is the 24-hour economy promise.

I am daring H.E. John Dramani Mahama to come for this year's Presidential debate if he believes he served well as President and also has a strong campaign message.
