Ghana U20 coach, Desmond Offei says he is happy with his boys' performance after winning gold at the African Games.
He said Ghanaians are yet to see more from the squad.
“Top top talented boys, hardworking players and they were hungry to show the nation what they were about," he said after the game.
"We had to select the best possible players to represent the nation and that’s what we did.
“It will help the process in terms of bringing our new national philosophy, national DNA and it gives us leverage to push hard. We have a lot of work to do and I think this is just the beginning.” Desmond Offei said.
Ghana beat Uganda (1-0) to win gold at the just-ended African Games hosted in Ghana after 13 years.
Desmond Offei took over as coach in September 2023.
