Assin North by-election: NDC Sharing goodies to buy votes (PICTURES)

Caught on camera, some officials of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been captured sharing fertilizers, spraying machines, and wellington boots among other things ahead of the June 27 by-election in the Assin North constituency.

The NDC is allegedly in the thick of affairs at Kanokrom, Afenase, Obiri Kweku, Camp C, Aworbe, Wawase and Atentan electoral areas sharing fertilizers, spraying machines, wellington boots, cash and even paying electricity bills of households according to sources in the constituency.



Per the balloting, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Charles Opoku would be the number one on the ballot paper, with the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) candidate, Bernice Enyonam Sefenu occupying the second position on the ballot and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, James Gyakye Quayson picking the third spot on the ballot paper.
