Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman Freddie Blay has expressed concern over the demolition at La Pleasure Beach, describing the area as a thriving business hub that is being destroyed.

Blay, who says he has personally been affected by the exercise, lamented the impact of the demolition on businesses operating in the area in a demonstrtation dubbed “Aaagbe w) demo”.

“Laboma Beach Resort is a thriving business hub, yet it is being destroyed. I have personally been affected by the demolition at La Pleasure Beach,” he said.

His comments highlight concerns about the potential impact of the demolition on businesses and livelihoods at the beach enclave.

La Pleasure Beach, located along Ghana’s coast, has served as a destination for recreational activities and commercial ventures, with businesses relying on visitors for their income.
