Former Black Stars caption, Asamoah Gyan is in grief but praying Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsusurvives a devastating earthquake that has left over a thousand dead in Turkey and Syria.
Atsu is reportedly ‘trapped under rubble’ following the earthquake.
Gyan who is praying for a miracle posted on his official Instagram page an ‘a broken heart’ emoji after screaming “OH GOD”.
Many suggest his post is a signal that Christian Atsu could not make it even though a search is still ongoing.
Christian Atsu plays for the Turkish club Hatayspor, which is based in the region of Kahramanmaras – one of the areas hit hardest by the quake.
The earthquake, the second-largest in the last century anywhere in the world, has already been reported to have claimed more than 2,300 lives both in Turkey and neighbouring Syria, CNN reports.
