Govt confirms 100 new buses to ease transport challenges

<p>The Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has announced the arrival of a new fleet of buses to help ease transport challenges across the country.</p><p>In a Facebook post on Sunday, March 5, he said the government has begun taking delivery of buses as part of efforts to expand public transport capacity and reduce pressure on commuters.</p><p>He revealed that 100 new 29-seater buses have already arrived, forming part of a larger plan to procure 300 buses to strengthen the transport system nationwide.</p><p>Providing a timeline, the minister noted that an additional 100 buses are expected in August, with the final batch of 100 scheduled to arrive in November.</p><p>The new buses are expected to gradually improve commuting conditions, especially during peak hours marked by congestion and overcrowding.</p>
