Akin Osuntokun, the Director-General of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council has called out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over its performance in the polls.
The Presidential and National Assembly elections were held on Saturday, February 26.
He described the process as "disgraceful" while noting that the "process has been marred by irregularities.
He also said that there was a "selective application of ground rules laid down by INEC itself."
He made this known in an interview on Sunday, February 26 on Channels TV.
In an earlier statement, he appealed to the electoral body not to plunge the nation into an avoidable crisis after a largely peaceful election.
Osuntokun expressed the party’s grievance at the conduct of INEC officials in most parts of Lagos, Imo, Rivers and Delta states, where he said a considerable number of his party members were disenfranchised.
