The MP for Weija-Gbawe Constituency called on ECG, GRIDCo, and the Ministry of Energy to address persistent power outages in the area.
The outages, lasting over four days in some cases, have disrupted households, healthcare, education, and businesses.
“These unplanned outages occur without prior notice or communication… causing widespread disruption to households, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and businesses,” the MP stated. “The consequences are dire, hampering economic activity, endangering lives and compromising the delivery of essential services.” The MP for the area, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, vents in a statement.
