Honorable, it is a pleasure to be here with you today in the Dagbon Kingdom. It is a joy to see a committed and very hardworking minister like you in our Kingdom due to the good news we often receive at the end of their visit. Knowing your prowess in the government and New Patriotic Party (NPP) we are very much ready to receive the good news you bring. On behalf of myself, the Chiefs and people of the Kingdom I wish to warmly welcome you to Dagbon.
I wish to begin by extending my sincere gratitude to you Honorable Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen for the Excellent service you rendered to the country during your tenure as the minister of Trade and Industry. Your appointment was indeed justified through the excellent leadership you exhibited in government and other good works for mother Ghana. Honorable, your legacies at the Ministry of Trade and Industry particularly the rollout of the famous One District One Factory program are impacting positively on the lives of Ghanaians and our economy.
Honourable, your visit today with your hardworking team and supporters shows your recognition and preparedness to work with the traditional authorities as custodians of the land and major stakeholders in the affairs of the country. The support of the general public in your future endeavors can be achieved through this act of building good working relationship with chiefs as leaders of the people and our communities. I wish to use this opportunity to encourage you to continue on that path. I also wish to give you the assurance of the preparedness of traditional authorities of the Kingdom to give you support in your future endeavors to enable you do an excellent job for the country once again.
Honorable I wish to conclude by commending the government in its effort towards solving the current economic crises. I also wish this opportunity to make a passionate appeal to the general public to offer support government the needed support to turn the economy around in order to redeem the good economic image of the country. I am confident that despite the current economic challenges in the country, with our support, government will continue to pay the needed attention to the urgent needs of the Kingdom and Ghana in general. I wish on this note to welcome you and wish you a great stay in the Kingdom.
