Abena Moet asserts that women should not be solely responsible for house chores, emphasizing the importance of mutual support and contribution in relationships.
She argues that men should also contribute financially or physically, highlighting the example of Jesus Christ as a leader who served his disciples.
"I can't go out there, work 12 or 15 hours, sit at a table of men, argue my point, or even close a business deal and make money, just to come back home to meet my husband on the couch watching TV, sitting, and waiting for me to cook just because you are the man. Nobody will do that.
"In every relationship, it's a give and take. It's either you are helping financially or physically. It is not easy to make money; you know how it is to make money. Imagine you wake up at 4 AM, go for a meeting from 5 AM to 12 PM... and come home to cook for you," she bluntly says in a viral video
Adding that, “When you are sweating on set, we all try to help you out, and that doesn't make me less. So, if I go to work and come back to see you in the chair doing nothing... Jesus Christ was the head, yet he washed the feet of his disciples. To be able to lead, you must learn to serve.”
