Political Analyst, Yaw Asani Tano has caused tongue-wagging with his incentive comment about Ghana's former Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.
Yaw Tano showed no sympathy for the recent ordeal of the former minister in the Akufo-Addo-led government after telling NEAT FM's morning show during a studio discussion that he wished Ken Ofori-Atta “dead”.
According to him, the former minister has caused pain to many in the country when he made sure some banks collapsed and mismanaged the country's economy.
“I am telling you, me Yaw Asani Tano if I had to wake up from sleep and heard Ken Ofori-Addo has been assassinated, I would rejoice with a cow feast.”
“Ken Ofori-Atta has done the worst to the country and the economy. People have died because of his evil deeds. Such a person doesn't deserve to live." Yaw Asani Tano emphatically said.
Wanted fugitive
The Office of the Special Prosecutor has declared Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive, wanted for questioning in four corruption investigations.
The Special Prosecutor dismissed claims that Ofori-Atta left the country for medical treatment and refuted reports of a raid on his residence.
