NDC’s Victoria Hamah says crying for the dead is “ignorance”.
According to the former deputy minister for communication, people should reflect on their lives rather than cry for the dead.
“To cry when people die is ‘Ignorance.’ Life is nothing but an Illusion. Rather than crying reflect on your mortality,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
Her comment comes after the passing of Black Stars player Christian Atsu who was found under rubble over a week after the 7.3 magnitude Turkey earthquake that stuck on February 6, 2023.
