Following a chaotic vetting session in Ghana’s Parliament, four MPs were suspended for two weeks for their involvement in a heated argument that damaged furniture and microphones.
Speaker Bagbin condemned the behaviour, emphasizing its negative impact on public confidence and calling for an investigation.
The suspended lawmakers are Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor (South Dayi), Frank Annoh-Dompreh (Nsawam-Adoagyiri), Alhassan Tampuli (Gushegu), and Jerry Ahmed Shaib (Weija-Gbawe).
