John Dumelo, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, opposes the use of sirens on vehicles by MPs, despite acknowledging the ongoing debate on the matter.
Dumelo believes sirens are unnecessary for his work as an MP.
“I was with him in parliament for orientation, but I just left. A Plus says we need sirens, maybe that's his opinion, but personally, I don't think I need a siren,” he said, referring to comments made by his colleague, Kwame Obeng Asare, popularly known as A Plus.
“I know some people do, and it's a debate that has been ongoing for some time, but personally, I don't,” he added.
