Police used force to arrest a man for smashing the windscreens of several vehicles parked at the premises of Parliament on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
His identity is unknown but eyewitnesses he moved among the parked vehicles and used a metal object to shatter the windscreens.
The motive behind the act remains unclear.
At the time he was being arrested, he was heard saying “Father have mercy on them. Daddy, they don’t know what they are doing… It is for your own good.”
