Dear NPP Members and Supporters,

I write to you today with a heavy heart, following the outcome of the December 7, 2024 General Elections. While we may not have achieved the desired results, the spirit of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) remains unbroken, and our resolve to move forward with unity and purpose is more critical than ever.

First, I want to thank the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his entire campaign team for their efforts.  Moreover,  I would like to express my gratitude to each and every one of you, the party foot soldiers, and in fact all members for your dedication, hard work, and unwavering support throughout the campaign period. Your efforts have been invaluable, and even though we have faced a humiliating defeat, we must recognize that we fought a hard battle. It is in times like these that the true strength of our party is tested, and I firmly believe that our party’s foundation, built on democratic values and a commitment to serving the people, will guide us through this difficult moment.

As we reflect on the outcome, we must do so with a sense of humility and a recognition that in democracy, there are always lessons to be learned. Our focus must now shift to rebuilding our party and positioning ourselves for the future. I call on all NPP members—whether you supported the party through the election, or are disheartened by the results—to come together in unity, with one goal: to rebuild and strengthen the NPP for the future.

Rebuilding a party is never easy, but it is a task that is necessary for progress. We must ensure that every voice is heard, every contribution valued, and that our internal structures and systems are optimized to serve our core values and the interests of Ghanaians. This process will require self-reflection, humility, and above all, a collective effort to re-energize our base and appeal to the broader Ghanaian electorate.

I urge you all to come together, set aside any differences, and work towards strengthening the NPP. This is not the time for division or bitterness. We must remember that we are all part of the same cause—the development and progress of our nation. We are one party, and we must now, more than ever, unite and rebuild from the grassroots up.

As we embark on this journey, let us keep the principles of the NPP close to our hearts: democratic governance, respect for the rule of law, national development, and social justice. We have made significant strides in these areas in the past, and I am confident that with your support, we can once again become the party of choice for the people of Ghana.

In the coming days and weeks, we will begin organizing outreach programs, discussions, and town hall meetings to engage with all our members and supporters. These forums will be crucial in understanding the needs and aspirations of the Ghanaian people and rebuilding our party’s platform to resonate with those concerns.

To those who feel disillusioned, I ask for your patience and understanding. We may have lost this battle, but together, we can win the war for a better Ghana. Let’s set our eyes on the future, learn from our mistakes, and continue to be a party that the people can trust and rely on.

Finally, let us remember that the future of our party lies in our hands. We have an opportunity to come out of this challenging period stronger, more united, and more committed to serving the people of Ghana. Let us seize that opportunity, work tirelessly, and show the nation that the New Patriotic Party is, and will always be, the party of progress.

Thank you for your continued commitment. Together, we shall rise again.
