Press Aide to NPP Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Kofi Abrefa Afena has dismissed reports that the convoy of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was involved in an accident on Thursday, 14th November 2024, killing a young boy.
Speaking to Silver FM in Kumasi, Mr. Afena debunked the reportage saying that no incident of that sort happened.
"Dr. Prempeh's convoy has not been involved in any accident and has not knocked down anybody. The general public is asked to ignore the reportage. It is completely false", he said.
Mr. Afena further asked the general public to be on the lookout for some of these fabricated stories in the run-up to the December elections with the intention of creating fear, and panic and also causing disaffection for innocent people.
He implored the public to disregard the false stories.
