The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of Parliament (MPs) have taken over the Majority side at Parliament's makeshift floor at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), for Thursday, November 7, 2024's sitting.

The NDC MPs arrived in the House first and took over the seats on the right-hand side of the Speaker, which is reserved for the majority caucus.

According to GhanaWeb’s team at the AICC,  the National Democratic Congress MPs were on the floor, seated on the Majority side.

Their colleague New Patriotic Party MPs were not on the floor yet at that time, with sitting scheduled to commence at 10:00 am.

A similar incident led to NPP MPs boycotting Parliament during proceedings on October 22, 2024.

The Speaker then decided to adjourn the Parliament meeting indefinitely because the House did not have the numbers to make decisions in the absence of the NPP MPs.

NDC MPs on the floor have already expressed their frustration over the absence of the NPP MPs.
