National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Director of Election says the call for a peaceful election might turn violent if the Electoral Commission [EC] continues to be biased toward his party.

Mahdi Gibrill, in an interview with NEAT FM's morning show, Ghana Montie, noted that there are some irregularities the EC must rectify before December to avoid unnecessary tension.

“The ballot papers they [EC] are printing for the election can be used to rig and destroy the election. Did we pay them to print faulty ballot papers?”He questioned.

Adding that, “We should be worried as a nation.  People are rather preaching, ‘We want peace, we want peace’ and it is a business for them, they don't mean it.”
