The presidential candidate of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) believes the 24-hour economy policy by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is just a political strategy to win votes.
Mr Kofi Akpaloo maintained that Ghana ‘is not there’ yet for such a policy despite Mr John Mahama's assurance that it is dowable.
“How is he going to do? Where in Ghana? let me be sincere to you, he [Mahama] cannot do it.” In an interview with NEAT FM's morning show, he emphatically said.
Mr Kofi Akpaloo further said the NDC would rather mismanage the economy than it is now with their “confused” policies.
“Someone [John Mahama] who said he will reduce import duty so people can import into the country. So if people are importing more, what is left to be produced in this country for his 24-hour economy?” He questioned.
