Running mate for the New Patriotic Party, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh and the Parliamentary Candidate of Kpone Katamanso William Ofosu Asante paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of Kpone Nii Tetteh Otu II, the Traditional Council and the people.
They were led by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, the NPP Greater Accra Regional Secretary Odailail Parker, the regional Women’s Organizer Grace Acheampong with the Constituency Chairman and Executives of Kpone Katamanso.
Mr Joe Ghartey, the 1st Vice Chairman of the NPP, Chairman Danquah Smith and National Organiser, Lawyer Nana Boakye were also in attendance.
Dr Prempeh took the opportunity to plead with the Chiefs and people of Kpone to vote for the NPP in the upcoming elections.
He reminded them that President Akufo-Addo promised them a hospital and the promise had been fulfilled. Napo said the NPP was committed to developing the whole country and urged the people of Kpone to vote for the NPP in 2024.
He also took the opportunity to present to the Kpone Traditional Council their son, William Ofosu Asante, the Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP for Kpone Kantamanso.
On his part, Hon Joe Ghartey who accompanied Napo, described Napo as a doer.
He said Napo was an excellent partner for Dr Bawumia. Joe Ghartey said that he joined the NPP in 1992 because he was convinced that it presented Ghana with the best opportunity for governance. He said several years later his view on the matter had not changed.
He also urged the people to vote for the Parliamentary Candidate who he described as an eloquent and enterprising young man, who would put Kpone firmly on the map of Ghana.
The Chiefs thanked the delegation for the visit and wished them well.
