The People's National Convention (PNC) has announced the filing process for its national executive positions ahead of the December 7 polls.
A statement from the party said, “A total of 17 candidates have thrown their hats into the ring, signalling a robust contest for leadership.”

The following stalwarts have filed for the respective positions:
- Flagbearer: Bernard A. Mornah and David Apasera, both vying for the party's top spot
- Chairman: Hajia Hajara Ali and Asaki Awingobit, seeking to helm the party's machinery
- General Secretary: Awudu Ishaq and Yakubu Fahrudeen, competing to steer the party's administrative affairs
- Organizer: Abass Nuhu and Daniel Nii Noi Osekine, battling to mobilize the party's grassroots
- Women's Organizer: Christiana Fugah and Esther Osei, contending to champion women's empowerment
- Youth Organizer: Mark Ewusi Arko and Alidu Mohammed Nasirdeen, vying to energize the party's youth wing
- Treasurer: Emmanuel Akazabre, seeking to manage the party's finances
Deputy positions:
- Chairman: Martin Anafo and Eugene Tamado Koffikan Bashiru, angling to support the party's chair
- General Secretary: Prince K. Agyeman-Duah, seeking to assist in administrative duties
- Organizer: Saeed Abdallah, vying to support grassroots mobilization
- Women's Organizer: Narrita Mary Logah, competing to support women's empowerment
The party has scheduled a rigorous vetting process for Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Candidates have been grouped into two batches for the vetting process, which promises to be a battleground for ideas and vision.
