The head pastor of Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Kofi Oduro has cautioned politicians not to disrespect Ghana's first president, Dr Kwame Nkrumah or face some consequences.
According to him, no leader can be comapared to the former leader in his quest to develop Ghana.
Addressing his congregation, he said any politician who speak against Dr Kwame Nkrumah who have him or her self to blame.
“Anybody who wants to win an election in this country, if you disrespect Nkrumah, it will not be well with you. Your governance cannot be compared to Nkrumah. What have you done in government to make this comparison?”
"Is it the building of toilet facilities and those useless things? Let your work speak for you, not your bragging. From the first republic to the third, nobody comes close to Nkrumah,” he noted.
His comment comes after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said during his Founders's Day speech that he rejects the notion that one individual single-handedly founded Ghana.
The president's comment has, however, sparked some debate across the country.
