The Ghana Police Service says they are not recruiting new officers as widely claimed.
Member of Parliament for Wa West, Mr Peter Toboo has alleged that the service is ‘secretly’ recruiting without any public announcement.
But the police in a statement said the claims are false.
“We wish to state that the Police Service has not commenced any exercise of such nature.” The police said.
