The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for the Awutu Senya East constituency in the Central Region has been released from police custody following a night of chaos at the Cantonment police station.
Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor was arrested and detained by the police on Friday [June 7].
She was released on Saturday morning - Peacefmonline can confirm.
However, the police is yet to publicly comment on the issue.
The NDC has called an immediate press conference to speak on the arrest.
