President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Friday, May 10, 2024 commission the refurbished Kumasi airport.
The airport under the new name "Nana Agyemang Prempeh I International Airport" has seen a major facelift under the current administration.
The official commissioning is in conjunction with the Ministry of Transport.
The President will during the event unveil the new "Terminal Building and ATC Tower and Radar System" of the airport.
Dignitaries to attend the event are the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, the Minister of Transport and Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, the Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, among others.
