The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Godfred Yeboah Dame has accused the sponsors of the controversial Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill of their selfish interests.
He said the bill which is currently in court is “purely political” - hence, the president awaits the court's outcome before making its final decision.
“I will say on all fronts and all accord indeed every aspect of this process is political, the bill is politically motivated otherwise there is no urgency,” Godfred Yeboah Dame told Joy News in an interview monitored by Theannouncergh.com.
