The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will today, Monday, February 19, 2024, set to submit to the National Executive Committee(NEC) of his party members of his national campaign team ahead of December 7, presidential election.
Sources say the former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Botwe, is tipped to head Bawumia's campaign team.
Mr Dan Botwe's rich experience in politics made him the top-notch leader to ensure Bawumia's victory in the coming election.
He was recently relieved of their post last week in a reshuffle done by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but it's unclear if his yet-to-be-announced position contributed to his sack from the Akufo-Addo-led government.
