Renowned fashion designer and creative director of Poqua Poqu, Pokua Poku-Mouhtiseb has passed on - State-owned Graphic Online has reported.
According to reports she died at the Lister Hospital in Accra on Wednesday, February 14 through labour complications.
She was 42 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Mr Mouhtiseb and three children.
Poqua Poqu, the fashion label brands itself as an affordable luxury women’s fashion brand. The label was established in 2011 to provide multifunctional apparel for trendy, stylish and sophisticated women.
The brand boasts of customers with high standing in society including Anita Erskine, Eugenia Tachie-Menson, Ayesha Bedwei Ibe, Shirley Emma Tibilla, Claudia Lumor Lady Dentaa Amoateng MBE, and Menaye Donkor among others.
She had her university education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the University of Hull in England.
Fashin designer Abrantie The Gentleman has, however, posted a tribute on his Instagram page to share the sad news.
