A nurse believed to be in his 40s has lost her life after she was hit by a moving car.
The Nanumba North Municipal Chief Executive, Abdulai Yaqoub confirmed the incidents to Citi News after the nurse was pronounced dead at the Bimbilla Hospital.
The report says the deceased was returning from his night shift when the unfortunate incident occurred.
According to eyewitnesses a Benz bus travelling in the wrong direction forced the Kia Renault to swerve, leading to the fatal accident.
The driver of the Kia Renault is in police custody to assist investigation.
