The flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) says his next government will not tolerate any activities from the LGBTQ+ community.

He was blunt that he is against the community, and nothing can change that.

“I am against LGBTQ. I am a member of the Assemblies of God Church, and my faith is against it,” the former president said and reported by Graphic Online

This declaration comes amid ongoing debates and controversies surrounding LGBTQ issues in Ghana.

Some various religious and political leaders have kicked against the act pressuring an act to the passed in parliament.

Mr Mahama who is very optimistic about winning the December 7 presidential election says, “As a man, I don’t see how you can wake up one day and say I feel like I am a woman although I was born a man”.
