NDC’s Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah says he is ever ready to partner with his party’s flagbearer, John Dramni Mahama in the 2024 presidential election.
The former Trade Minister noted that he has the experience and competence to add value to the ticket for the NDC to emerge victorious.
Speaking on Accra-based TV3, Dr Spio Garbrah said he is ever ready to serve if called upon by Mr Mahama.
“I am also capable; I am also ready. So it is a matter of his choice. If he chooses me, we all hear about it. I have made myself known and available to lead our party and to lead Ghana, and I’m still here in Ghana,” he said.
Mr. Mahama, who is seeking re-election in 2023, disclosed that he will select his running mate in February 2024.
Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang was selected in 2020 as the running mate to the former president.
