Effiduase-Asokore chiefs have made history after picking up forms for the area’s incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr Ayew Afriye to contest again for the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s parliamentary primaries.
The Chiefs also want him to go unopposed – they maintained he is “Unmatched” with projects he has ensured in the constituency over the years.
Dr Ayew was prayed for by the chiefs during today’s Awukudae’s gathering.
They described him as “Generous, hardworking, humble.”
Speaking at a gathering, the hardworking lawmaker thanked the chiefs for their trust in him and said he is going to do more for the development of the constituency and the NPP.
“Even in difficult times, I communicate to them to understand the challenges of government better. What impresses them also is my MP surgeries that continue to listen and attend to the needs of his constituents.” He noted.
