The Ministry of Information, since 2019, has led in the implementation of the RTI Act.
After three years of implementation, the Ministry seeks to assess the gains and identify gaps and areas for improvement in RTI implementation.
In furtherance of this, the Ministry, in collaboration with its stakeholders, will host a public forum to review the implementation of the RTI Act since its passage. The forum, themed “Three Years of Implementing the Right To Information Act– Ghana’s Journey So Far, “ is scheduled for Wednesday, 13 December 2023, at the British Council Hall at 9 am.
The forum will be telecast live on GTV, Metro TV, Joy News, TV3, and GHONE TV, as well as the social media handles of the Ministry of Information.
