Fire guts Makola Shopping Mall

Fire guts portions of Makola Shopping Mall in Accra, forcing authorities to temporarily close down the Mall.

Firefighters are working to bring the fire under control - according to report.

The Mayor of Accra, Elizabeth K.T. Sackey has visited the Mall to ascertain the extent of damage. 

The cause is the fire is yet to be known.
