If you ever believed rich people in Ghana made their money through hard work, then you should have a second thoughts.
According to Dr Kwadwo Bempah Boateng, Senior Pastor of Holy Hill Chapel Assemblies of God, the source of wealth of most ‘big men’ in Ghana cannot be attributed to only hard work.
Addressing his congregants, he said he personally knows some of these popular wealthy ‘big men’ and can testify that their source of wealth is more than what the ordinary eyes see.
“Today in Ghana rich people have started forming clubs, go to East Legon and you will see. Don’t be deceived by their merry-making. When you see people forming this kind of thing, they are introducing people to other things. Be careful.” He warned his church members.
He also boldly claimed some of them drink human blood and engage in other rituals to make money after warning his congregants to take their spiritual life seriously.
“You see, I know many things about many people they call them big men. I just don’t want to speak…some of them take in blood. They can stab a baby with a knife and suck the blood,” he said in the local dialect Twi.
Continuing: “Don’t get me angry. So that prosperity you see it’s not only hard work. Why are you the only one selling insurances? Are you the only one selling spare parts? Do you know what others are doing?
“Take your spiritual life seriously because you can’t go beyond a certain level until money follows you as a spirit”, he cautioned.
