Some polling station officers of the New Patriotic Party in the Assin Central Constituency have openly declared their support, and intention to vote for, the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, in the November 4 presidential primary of the NPP.
According to their leader in a viral video said they have not benefited from the party ever since it took over.
“We haven’t benefited from the party since we came to government. Our constituency hasn’t benefited from any appointments in government be it ministerial or board membership.
“We don’t know if we have any such appointments in our constituency and the beneficiaries have hidden that and the benefits thereof from us. We can’t tell. But we trust that, as Dr. Bawumia has promised to give each constituency 10 appointments in his government, he will surely deliver on that promise and all of us will also benefit from that policy.” The leader said in the viral video
