The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a Chairman Wontumi is pleading with the Ghanaian electorates to consider keeping his party in power to continue with their developmental projects across the country.
He said the NPP “must not leave power” so as to see the completion of what it has started in its attempt to transform the country.
“We [NPP] need more years so Ghanaians will see what we are doing. Now we are pleading with Ghanaians to give us the 2024 election, we have more to do for the people to appreciate us.” He told NEAT FM’s morning show, Ghana Montie.
Wontumi further slammed veteran Ghanaian media personality, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah, alias KKD, for saying that "the person who came up with the term 'break the eight' lacked knowledge".
He urged Mr Kwasi Kyei Darkwah to stick with his fashion trends and not dive into politics where his opinions are unsound.
To him, KKD is always too emotional with his criticism of the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government.
“KKD, I plead with you, when you are talking don’t let your emotions be bigger than your quietness. Anytime you want to speak let your voice be more stronger than your quietness.
“But if you come to speak and all you (KKD) do is insult, it makes it seem like you are one of the people John Mahama has paid, like Kelvin Taylor, to criticise the government," he told host Kwesi Aboagye.
