Credible information available to the media indicates that the former Ghana Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, H.E Alhaji Said Sinare, has reportedly been seeking cancer treatment out of the country for the past two months.
Sources close to the corridors of the immediate past National Vice Chairman of the NDC revealed that the outspoken former Ambassador left the shores of the country for Egypt, his motherland in May this year.
It is reported that Alhaji Said Sinare has a health challenge he is managing and that he needs to be in good shape as the party goes deeper into the 2024 campaign season.
Alhaji Said Sinare's absence before, during, and after the Assin North by-election sparks controversies within the ranks of his opposition National Democratic Congress due to the missing of his charismatic public speaking and crowd-pulling traits.
This prompted an investigation to seek reasons for his absence from the party's electoral victory rally that has brought all the big guns within the opposition NDC to Assin North; hence, the revelation that he was not in the best of health and had to be secretly flown out of the country in the early days of May by family members.
The heartbreaking news started to receive many sympathetic messages to the philanthropist from his party loyalists, Muslim communities, and Ghanaians.
