The Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, Andy Appiah Kubi together with Andy Owusu, a special aide to Chairman Wontumi were the first to show up at Dr. Bawumia’s residence today to accompany him file his nomination.

Many Members of Parliament, members and sympathizers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) had throng the private residence of the Vice President, as he prepared to way his way to the National Headquarters of the party to file his nomination.

Andy Appiah Kubi and Andy Owusu who just couldn’t keep calm to throw their weight behind the Vice President, had to make their way to the VEEP’s house early in the morning. They’ve both publicly declared their support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead as the flagbearer for the NPP.

Meanwhile, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has disclosed the toil, struggle and anguish he went through to reach where he’s gotten to in life.

Speaking during the filing of his nomination to contest for the NPP Presidential race, the ‘Digital man’ noted that he never got to where he’s now by chance. He had to go through the thick and thin of life which included working as a cleaner at dormitories when he had travelled to Canada to seek for greener pastures.

This is evident of how he’s championed pro-poor policies geared towards eliminating the plight of the vulnerable in society.
